About

Joy is a retired architect and now spending time on her love of drawing and investigating painting and other art forms.

She is influenced by nature and her surroundings. Joy has an interest in redundant structures and buildings that are reminiscent of ways of living that are now past and will soon be gone for ever.

Her work records the contrast of nature in urban spaces

Recently Joy has split her time between Twickenham, Cornwall and Guernsey and her current work reflects those locations.
